Ryan R. Roloff

President, Financial Advisor

Ryan R. Roloff started Roloff Wealth Management, Inc. on August 31, 2011. The company was renamed Roloff Retirement Solutions, Inc. in September, 2017 to better align with our focus on retirement. After almost 15 years working for Dean Witter, Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch between Madison, WI, Phoenix, AZ and Fresno, CA, Ryan felt the call to offer his clients something more - the touch and feel of a small, locally owned & operated business, while maintaining the investment options and capabilities of any Wall Street firm.  The ability to help not only his larger clients, but also their children and grandchildren who may just be starting out was a major factor in leaving the larger firms.

Born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin, Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a mathematical emphasis, as well as a math minor. He is a believer in the unending pursuit of additional knowledge and specialization, having attained numerous credentials during his time in the industry. He most recently completed his Masters degree program and received his Masters in Taxation from the University of Cincinnati in April, 2023 to add to the knowledge he uses to help his clients make wise financial decisions.

He is a CFP® certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also has attained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations awarded by the American College, and the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. Ryan has most recently been awarded the Enrolled Agent (EA) designation from the IRS which is the highest credential the IRS awards. As an EA he not only can prepare and file a client’s taxes, but also has unlimited rights to represent his tax clients before the IRS. He also holds the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®) designation awarded by the National Social Security Association, allowing him to specialize in assisting all clients in maximizing their Social Security benefits using advanced claiming strategies. In addition, Ryan earned the Estate Planning Consultant and Retirement Planning Specialist certifications at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.  At Bank of America / Merrill Lynch, Ryan earned the titles of Vice President, Investments, Wealth Management Advisor and PIA Portfolio Manager, which requires demonstration of competency and discipline in managing portfolios on a discretionary basis. He has recently completed the rigorous educational component of the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) designation issued by the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers and completed a 3-day residency program at the NYU Stern School of Business in September 2023 awarding him the official CPM® designation to add to his list of professional accomplishments.  A state and national level award-winning math student in elementary through high school, he is also a qualified member of both Mensa and The Triple Nine Society.

Ryan supports the communities in which he lives and works, giving back through volunteering both his time and resources. As a volunteer, Ryan has volunteered with such organizations as Rotary, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and the Adopt-a-Highway program, among others. He has coached many youth sports teams over the years, and financially supports organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Salvation Army, Poverello House, and the American Cancer Society. He encourages his clients to give back as their resources allow.

Ryan lives in Fresno with his son, while his daughter is pursuing a Geology degree at UC-Davis. He enjoys many outdoor activities and sports, including visiting National Parks, backpacking/hiking, golf, tennis, softball, basketball, cycling, and downhill skiing. In his evenings he enjoys league bowling and watching movies. In 2023, he completed visiting his 50th state and is increasing his international travel with an extensive bucket list.  He is also an avid Wisconsin sports fan and owns one share of the Green Bay Packers football club.

Ryan is a Financial Advisor directly overseeing over $70 million (as of August 25, 2023) in client assets, with clients spanning the United States. He does not have a firm investment minimum, but works only with clients looking for a structured, disciplined approach to investing and financial planning.  His team works to integrate advice in all areas affecting clients including investment management, Social Security and Medicare planning, as well as estate and tax planning.
