NEW Social Security and Medicare Classes this fall!
Roloff Retirement Solutions is happy to announce that in-person education classes are back! Each complimentary class will be approximately 2 hours in length and will include a course on Social Security and one on Medicare. Please call or text the office to reserve a spot at one of these classes as seating is very limited!
The Social Security course is designed to help educate you to understand your options BEFORE filing for Social Security benefits. This portion of the class will cover many topics including new 2023 tax law updates, rules and regulations you may want to be aware of before starting benefits, how your benefits may be affected by other income, as well as looking at how your timing may affect your benefits and the lifetime income difference potential. One of our goals will be to help guide you to maximizing your Social Security benefits.
The Medicare portion of the class will cover a vast array of Medicare topics including rules and laws regarding when you can switch to Medicare, options for coverage, the process on transitioning and how to avoid penalties, as well as defining all parts of Medicare and how they work with each other. This course was also designed to help you understand Medicare before switching, however some of the information regarding enrollment periods and laws that allow you to make changes to your coverage and plans after you're already enrolled may be beneficial to everyone.
